Solid start at 21. For 40-year holds, I'd add more boring stuff: BRK.B, JNJ, PG, WM. Unsexy but durable. Your current picks are great but tech-heavy.
You ride the same stock for decades you have insanely high gain. I have relatives who had LLY,JNJ,XOM since the early 90s- they did very well just get some big mega company like that and sit on it forever.
MSFT, JNJ, BRK.B
ACI, JNJ, PG, VISAS, COSTCO,....
JNJ, which used to be pretty boring but recently has become exciting. I also have PEP, O, MDT, XOM, and WM.
JNJ is at an all time high and should benefit from the lack of profit taking to avoid 2025 taxes. I just bought it. Likewise Verizon will see tax loss selling. The dogs of the Dow theory should be strong in 2026.
The dividend ones are all fine, IDK about buying into Coke at all time highs, current valuation has a lot of "certainty" priced in. 7% revenue growth, 8% earnings growth, 3% dividend/buyback returns. 24 P/E for reliable 11% returns seems a bit expensive but not awful the valuation could pull …
My thoughts: JNJ is a good company . I don't own it but wish I did. It's gone parabolic recently so I'd put it on your watchlist and buy during a pullback. V is another solid choice. I own MA because they make money off of transaction fees too, but …
Parallel/Analogue of Dot Com bubble, fed rat cuts, melting up, and thesis for big pharma and managed care (didn't happen, I ran out of space). For those who lack reading comprehension, I’m saying that the market will melt up, not crash immediately. Before I start, I just want to acknowledge …
JNJ is pivoting to become more akin to LLY. It isn’t a safety consumer stock like it was pre Kenvue sell off. The optics of that sell off from KMB’s perspective probably seem worse because of all the noise around Tylenol etc which RFK says causes the ‘tism. So, I’d …
Kimberly-Clark (KMB) worth the scoop at its current price? I’m looking to get a few more consumer staples stock to try to diversify and also to be a bit more defensive. Is KMB a good value stock currently? It has some big brands of household staples, with recent raised stakes …
As a long term investor of Google, I will advice keep a watch on Meta. I think the shift to TPU is actually very clever and in a way they might be actually spending their capex where it's needed in a very planned manner. If not Mag7, There's a company …
Well the most important part of that equation is either a management team or board members that are committed to making those hard decisions about what to get rid of... that's pretty rare in public markets it works better in private equity. "I’ve had many friends in the sick-business-fix-up-game over …
NVO just needs to give up and let a company like JNJ or ABBV acquire them.
WTF is JNJ doing
Recession proof stocks WMT, MCD, JNJ etc
The trend has changed for Big Pharma - the market is getting more defensive Health care has been underperforming - its been [the worst performing sector in the last 5 years.](https://userupload.gurufocus.com/1992615725424091136.png) However the trend is now changing. Below is a table of the top-10 big Pharma Co's giving total return …
man JNJ is on a run huh
KO and JNJ
Lol JNJ and Ko Surviving the mess NVDA made
JNJ and BBAi
>2. “Suspicious Revenue Recognition” >Burry warned that many AI companies may be using accounting methods that make their revenue look larger or more stable than it really is. >This can include: >Booking multi-year deals upfront This isn't true. A company can only record revenue after the service or product is …
I've done well today. JNJ, GOOG and ASML have been my big picks for the last year. Sold a big chunk of my SP500 tracker today near the top in case the market dumps on NVDA earnings, will buy in again tomorrow regardless of the price. I feel like slightly …
JNJ
